Exercise data from the Free Exercise DB (yuhonas), released into the public domain (Unlicense). ~800 exercises with images, muscles, equipment and instructions.

Equipment

The equipment catalog is Pumpy’s own curated list. Its 3D equipment renders were generated with OpenAI’s image model and ship with the app; each falls back to a built-in vector illustration.

Built to be self-hosted on a homelab. Powered by KWS — the KWS heavy-duty 10-inch homelab rack.

Inspiration

Pumpy is an independent, clean-room reimplementation of the auto-generated, equipment- and recovery-aware strength-training concept popularized by Fitbod. No Fitbod code, assets, or data are used.
